"I did my first boot camp in Ibiza and Pete was the instructor for the week, to be honest I had no idea what I was getting into and I can honestly say it was one of the toughest things I have ever done both physically and mentally but Pete made it more than bearable, he made it fun and I actually enjoyed pushing myself to the limits of what my body could achieve no matter how hard it was.

Pete is extremely knowledgeable about both fitness and nutrition, I’ve been working out in one form or another for nearly 25 years now using the same old tried and tested method of lift lots of weight and run as far as you can but having spent just one week with Pete I have totally changed the way I train, he taught me about high intensity interval training and thanks to him I now have a much greater understanding of what exercises I need to do to achieve the results I want, why I’m doing those exercises and what they do for me and my fitness level, I now get a lot more out of my sessions for a lot less time and effort and I feel much better for it, I feel stronger and fitter than I have in years.

What really comes across training with Pete though is how incredibly passionate he is about what he does and that always comes through in his sessions, he has a fantastic manner about him, constantly both challenging and encouraging you, he’s cheeky as hell and always ready to take the piss but you can’t help liking him even when he is shouting at the top of his voice at you and pushing you to work so hard you feel you might throw up at any moment, (I’m pretty sure you’d make his day if you did actually throw up) but he is also very good at reading people and understanding how much they have to give so he pushes you right to your limits but never beyond what you can actually handle, just beyond what you think you can handle and he makes it easy to trust that if you do what asks of you and you work hard for him you will get the results you want, personally I lost a stone and a half in a week just by eating right and exercising hard and I look forward to getting the chance to train with him again, hopefully it won’t be quite such a shock to the system next time."
